Restaurants & Food Culture
Riposto serves honest Sicilian cooking—fresh seafood and family-run kitchens.
Local Trattoria
Da Nonna Rosa
A truly Sicilian and unpretentious restaurant where many locals dine. The lighting is bright and the interior simple, but the welcoming family behind it serves honest, well-prepared food.
Like many small, local restaurants, they do not have their own website, so click here for the link to their address.
Casu Osteria Contemporanea
Just by the train station, you will find this unpretentious gem, featured in the Michelin Guide. Don’t be misled by the simple interior — the kitchen delivers top-class cuisine at a reasonable price.
Risto pizzeria Grano
Strictly speaking, this is a pizzeria rather than a trattoria, but in addition to serving what some claim is the best pizza in the province, it also offers a range of simple and affordable Sicilian dishes.
You can find their Facebook page here.
Casual Seafood by the Harbour
Le Botti
Family-run restaurant serving fresh seafood, with a good selection of alternatives for those who prefer other options. Tables are set right by the seaside.
Zibibbu Lusso Siciliano
Zibibbu is, strictly speaking, an enoteca rather than a seafood restaurant, and it is located in the middle of the town square rather than by the sea. We include it here because you can enjoy excellent seafood dishes while choosing from the shop’s extensive wine selection.
Ristorante La Terrazza
Premium seafood presented with understated elegance and a refined atmosphere. Spectacular views along the seafront in Torre Archirafi, where premium seafood is served in an elegant and refined setting.
Gelato & Morning Espresso
Chantilly Pasticceria & Gelateria
Just off the main square, you will find this small gelateria, serving freshly made granita with brioche and a proper espresso. They also offer a wide selection of gelato and cakes.

Ma.Mi.Rò Chiosco
Set in the small park by the harbour, this modest spot places you right in the middle of the daily rhythm of Riposto. Surrounded by fishmongers and vegetable vendors going about their morning trade. Sit outside, order a proper espresso with a simple cornetto, and take in the atmosphere as the town wakes up around you.

Michelin & Fine Dining
Riposto and the surrounding area are home to several outstanding restaurants. This has not gone unnoticed by Michelin. Follow the link HERE for a full overview. Still, we would like to highlight three of our own favourites below.
Vico Astemo
Situated almost next door to us, in the village centre among narrow alleyways, this attractive restaurant occupies a former barrel warehouse. It is featured in the Michelin Guide, where self-taught chef Massimiliano Vasta presents his refined interpretation of Sicilian cuisine.
Zash
Riposto is home to a one-star restaurant in the Michelin Guide. Built around a former wine fermentation tank, Zash offers a calm and distinctive setting for a memorable evening.
La Cucina di Donna Carmela
Generous Sicilian dishes made with imagination and high-quality produce, much of it from the hotel’s own garden. The menu offers both meat and fish, available as tasting menus or à la carte. You can dine indoors or outside on the terrace under the palm trees. Service is friendly and professional.
With Character
Places that stand slightly apart. Not necessarily new, not necessarily traditional — but driven by personality, creativity and a clear point of view. These are spots that offer something a little different from the expected.
Birreria Riposto
Rustic yet elegant, with a distinctive interior and a strong focus on house-brewed beer. In summer, the charming backyard becomes a relaxed and inviting setting.
Piccolo Scalo
A relatively new addition to Riposto, this enoteca-bistrot combines well-prepared food with knowledgeable and attentive service. They mix Sicilian culinary traditions with a more modern expression.
Café Georgia
Caffè Giorgia is a modern cocktail bar and bistro in the heart of Riposto, known especially for its imaginative and well-crafted drinks. At its “Drink Lab,” classic cocktails are reworked, and new creations are developed, with a clear focus on balance and high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is young and welcoming, making it a good choice for an aperitif, drinks, snacks with friends, or a relaxed evening out.
Glass
Located on the main street in the centre of Riposto, Glass is an enoteca with a small osteria focused on quality wines and regional flavours. The wine list highlights Etna producers and Sicilian labels, alongside selected Italian and international bottles. In the kitchen, you will find cheeses, cured meats, raw seafood and simple dishes rooted in local tradition. The atmosphere is warm and informal.
